Microlise accelerates ANZ growth
Transport management technology firm Microlise is celebrating a strong year of growth across Australia and New Zealand with new customer wins, expanding operations and increasing demand for its connected fleet solutions in the logistics and transport sectors.
Since entering the ANZ market in 2016 with Coles as its foundation client, Microlise has expanded its regional footprint and built partnerships with major retailers including Woolworths, Foodstuffs North Island, Foodstuffs South Island and Gilmours, as well as companies like Morco and Aryzta.
“The growth we’re seeing across ANZ is a testament to the strength of our partnerships and the value our technology brings to retailers and transport operators,” said Microlise ANZ managing director Luke Olsen.
“As we scale, our focus remains on delivering measurable impact from efficiency gains to real-time visibility for our customers across the supply chain.”
Microlise’s ANZ performance in FY24 was marked by strong year-on-year growth, driven by a surge in hardware rollouts, a 27% uplift in professional services and increased recurring revenue as vehicle availability improved.
The company said this momentum reflects the company’s growing relevance in the region’s high-volume, high-demand retail and transport environments.
Globally, Microlise reported strong financials for FY24:
- Adjusted group revenue: AUD $153.9 million
- Annual recurring revenue (ARR): AUD $107.54 million
- Adjusted EBITDA: AUD $21.47 million
- Customer growth: 375 new customers globally.
In the first half of 2024, Australia experienced a shortage in the supply of new vehicles and parts. With supply returning to normal in the second half of the year, Microlise’s growth in the region accelerated as new customers rolled the company’s products out across their fleet. With H2 now underway, Microlise has committed to increased investment in local sales and delivery to capitalise on its growing market share.
The company was recognised in the 2024 Australasian Fleet Champions Awards, winning the ‘Fleet Safety Product’ category, and also named a finalist in the ASCL awards for the Automation, Robotics and Emerging Technology category.
