Waikato could host second steel mill under fast-track law

A steel plant included in new fast-track legislation aims to produce structural steel and provide up to 200 jobs in Waikato.The Ministry for the Environment recently released details of applications under the Fast-track Approvals Bill, which passed its third reading before Christmas.
